Norfolk Installation

This was such a fun installation! I got to ride down all the way to Norfolk with my mom and mom J! The installation theme was based on Mama Mia, which for sure meant that the music was amazing for the whole event. Phoenix went in as Worthy Advisor, which was super exciting because the installation also took place on her birthday. After the installation we had baked potatoes and those really hit the spot. After the installation, on the journey back home, we stopped in Richmond for their assembly’s snowflake ball. Taylor was hosting this fundraiser which was decorated like a beautiful winter wonderland and there was awesome ice cream. All in all, this was a super fun and adventurous trip.

Manassas Assembly #13

Amaranth Installation

Last Saturday, Manassas Assembly attended the Amaranth Installation at our lodge. Mom Priscilla and Dad Tom were retiring from the east and Mom Darcy and Dad Clancy moved up into the east! The girls from our assembly that attended were Vanessa, Eliza, Isabella, and myself. Gigi was also installed as a station in the court. Many other adults were there from our assembly! Mom Darcy chose her mascot to be a dog and even got her own mascot presented to her! So glad we were able to support very active adults of our assembly!

Manassas Assembly #13

Sweetheart Ball – 2/1/2020

On Saturday, February 1st, I attended the DeMolay Sweetheart Ball held at the Manasseh Lodge. I got there right when it started because I knew I couldn’t stay all the way to the end.  I was so happy to see so many Quantico girls there!  I have really missed them, and it was so nice to catch up.  There were also several people that came that were also at the Ashburn installation that was held earlier in the afternoon.  I needed to leave a little before 9:30 because my Sunday was going to start early and be a very busy day.

Springfield Installation – 1/26/2020

On Sunday, January 26^th, I attended the Springfield Installation.  Marisa B. was once again installed as Worthy Advisor and this is her second term.  The theme for the term is “George Washington, Respect” and her mascot is the Bald Eagle which she named, Lawrence, after George Washington’s brother.  The colors for the term are red, white, and blue and the flower is the Forget Me Not.  The charity for the term is to raise money to repair George Washington’s tomb.  There were visiting Rainbow girls from Ashburn and Quantico-Freedom assemblies as well as me.  As always the food was good!
