Richmond Installation – 2/2/2020

On Sunday, February 2nd, I was able to go to the Richmond Installation of officers.  There were a surprising number of people who were able to attend considering that it was also Superbowl Sunday with Rainbow girls from around the state.  Although there was a last-minute shift with the installing officers the installation went well.  Jessica G. was once again installed as Worthy Advisor making this her second term.  Her request for a mascot was that it have wings.  Taylor J. made up a “game show” for her to win the mascot.  It turned out to be a firefly.  I’m sorry to say that I needed to leave shortly after it ended so I could get home to finish my homework after a Rainbow filled weekend.

Quantico – Freedom Installation 1/11/2020

On Saturday, January 11^th, Assembly #6 had its installation of officers for the spring term.  There were many Rainbow members from across the state in attendance.  Zoe N. was installed as Worthy Advisor and a few Manassas Assembly members were installing officers.  Zoe’s term looks like it will be fun and the theme for the term is “Once Upon a Dream”.  I know she will do a good job and I look forward to teaming up with her since we are both Worthy Advisors this term.

Quantico – Freedom Constitution 1/11/2020

On Saturday, January 11^th, Assembly #6 got its Constitution!  There were many Rainbow members from across the state in attendance.  It was exciting to witness since I have never seen one before this.  Mom J presided over the ceremony and many other adults from the Grand Executive Board participated as well.  It was especially nice since many of the members in Quantico – Freedom Assembly were once part of Manassas Assembly.

Manassas Assembly Installation – 1/12/2020

On Sunday, January 12^th, Manassas Assembly #13 held its spring installation.  There were many Rainbow members from across the state in attendance.  I was installed as the Worthy Advisor and the theme for the term is “Beauty is Found Within”.  Alyssa K. presented me with my mascot a French poodle that I named – Fifi.  Kate B. and my mom crowned me.  The Ashburn pledges performed the ribbon ceremony.  I am so grateful for my installing officers, my Rainbow sisters, and everyone else that could make it and help out for the day.  Here’s to a great term ahead!
