About Rainbow
Rainbow is a nonprofit organization that strives to give girls from ages 6 to 20 the tools, training, and encouragement to let their individual spirits shine bright. By providing members with a safe, fun, caring environment where responsible, older girls can interact and mentor younger girls through family involvement.
Membership stages
Young girls are pledges
Girls ages 6-9 are called Pledges. Though they cannot become a full Rainbow Girl until age 10, they are welcomed and encouraged to participate in many activities including charity work, installations, and many other assembly activities. At this stage, the pledges enjoy the “big sister” relationships they will form with the older girls as they work and play side by side, absorbing the positive energy that comes from being a good person inside and out.
Older girls are leaders
Girls ages 10-20 are official Rainbow Girls and are involved in every aspect of the organization. At this age, girls can be elected to hold office, travel locally or globally, conduct speaking engagements, oversee charity projects, and participate in all facets of Assembly work. It is at this level that members gain the knowledge and experience that will help them through every stage of life.

By participating in fun events and activities, keeping up with new friends, and traveling to different cities and states, members experience the excitement of what a productive life has to offer.
Rainbow Girls love a challenge

- Virginia Rainbow was honored to help lay wreaths at Arlington National Cemetery to prepare for the holiday season.

- Working the Scholarship Golf Tournament can be fun.
From volunteering for different charities, to working to improve their public speaking, to mastering the lessons of Rainbow, members tackle lots of challenging hurdles but ultimately walk away with a sense of pride and accomplishment.
