Supreme Banquet
Posted in Blog on September 18th, 2018 by Christi ReedOn Sunday, July 29, 2018, Hampton Assembly started off Supreme Assembly by attending the “Be a pineapple” Supreme Banquet. We were lucky to be near the front and had a great view of the Supreme Officers, Acting Supreme Officers, and Supreme Pages as they were introduced. The dinner was delicious! We had chicken and, of course, green beans. There were also different dessert dishes and everyone said they tasted amazing. The banquet was showered in music by the Norfolk Public Schools and many of the guests could recognize the tune and hum along. There was also a huge poster going around where you could stick your face through the hole in the center and pose for a photo as a pineapple. Guests mingled and after it ended, Virginia DeMolay helped DJ a very fun dance. I’m so happy we had this event to end the night. I was able to meet many new friends and party with my Rainbow sisters from around the world. During this time, out of state girls also got a taste of Virginia by seeing some of our various dances like the biker shuffle. Many girls tried to learn and participate but everyone ended up having a great time!
