On September 21, Norfolk Assembly was happy to attend the Kempsville Chapter Installation! Junior was going in as the next Master Counselor and the installation went very well. All of his installing officers did very well on their parts and everything went so smoothly! All the Kempsville boys were also presented with medals for winning their competition that was held when they went to Oklahoma. Also, our very own Phoenix was chosen to be the Chapter Sweetheart for the term! We were so excited! Lastly, we all went downstairs for refreshments and a dance to follow the end of the night. Overall, it was such a fun and exciting installation and I can’t wait to see all the many achievements Junior will make throughout his term!

Norfolk #15

Manassas Assembly Installation – 1/12/2020

On Sunday, January 12^th, Manassas Assembly #13 held its spring installation.  There were many Rainbow members from across the state in attendance.  I was installed as the Worthy Advisor and the theme for the term is “Beauty is Found Within”.  Alyssa K. presented me with my mascot a French poodle that I named – Fifi.  Kate B. and my mom crowned me.  The Ashburn pledges performed the ribbon ceremony.  I am so grateful for my installing officers, my Rainbow sisters, and everyone else that could make it and help out for the day.  Here’s to a great term ahead!

Isabella – Manassas Assembly #13

On September 14th, we attended Tidewater Demolay’s installation of officers in Newport News. The officers were installed and Victoria M. was crowned as chapter sweetheart for the ensuing term. There was a reception and dance followed by the installation. Everyone had a great time!

Norfolk #15

Ashburn Installation – 2/1/2020

On Saturday, February 1st, I attended the Ashburn Installation of officers.  Samantha S. was installed as Worthy Advisor.  The theme for the term is “All the world needs is faith, trust and a little bit of pixie dust.” Her mascot is baby Tick Tock and since Samantha received two mascots one is named Tick and the other is named Tock.  The colors for the term are pixie dust yellow and Peter Pan green; the flower is the Tiger Lily.  The charity for the term is Give Kids the World Village to match the one for the Grand Worthy Advisor.  There were visiting Rainbow girls from all over.  There were plenty of people dressed as fairies, lost boys, and pirates for the occasion.  Dad Joe performed a crowning ceremony for Samantha as a pirate and several masons were also dressed and spoke with pirate “accents”.  I wish I could have stayed longer, but my mom’s phone was blowing up with urgent matters that I needed to address so we had to leave within a couple of minutes after it ended.
