Posted in Blog on July 26th, 2018 by Christi Reed

On Saturday, June 9th, Manassas Assembly attended the Her-Burn DeMolay Installation. Carter went in as Master Councilor. Emma, Vanessa, Sami, Ella, and myself attended. Mom Erin, Mom Paula, and Dad Wyatt were our drivers. We made a couple of stops and when you are with a group from Rainbow, its always an adventure! We hung out until the dance later that night!

Fun at the Sadie Hawkins Dance

A dance where the girls ask boys to dance?  Yes, that is a Sadie Hawkins Dance!  On Saturday, June 9, at 8:00, at Herndon Lodge, Bethel 52 held a dance and invited all the Rainbow Girls and Job’s Daughters. Girls from Ashburn Assembly and Manassas Assembly were there with guys from Herndon and Ashburn DeMolay. Mom P and mom Paula were the chaperone. The dance followed the Hern-burn DeMolay Installation that many of the girls attended. Katie, Sami, Vanessa, Emma, and Ella showed off their dance moves.  There were also slow dances. Vanessa and Emma had “special friends” that they had asked to the dance, so everyone was happy!

Grand Assembly 2018

Posted in Blog on July 19th, 2018 by Casey Humphries

This year at Grand Assembly I had tons of fun sharing a room with the younger girls. It was so great getting to know our younger sisters Sammy and Kemaya better. Kemaya is very funny and outgoing. I really enjoyed game night and the dance. I cried a lot during sessions because they were so beautiful and it was so wonderful to be part of Calvacade. All of our sisters in attendance received Grand appointments and our Assembly won 3rd in Assembly of the Year!  We also took 1st in Rodeo from Ritual competitions! Overall it was an amazing weekend and I can’t wait to do it again next year!!

Founder’s Day Event: Drive-In Movie

Posted in Blog on July 17th, 2018 by Casey Humphries

To celebrate Founder’s Day, Richmond Assembly went to the Goochland Drive-In Theatre following our Potluck for the Homeless event. We watched “Antman and the Wasp”. Everyone seemed to really enjoy it. Thank you to Mom Fussell for putting up with us at the movies and being our chaperone. We love you! It was truly a fun night and I look forward to doing it again.
