Pumpkin Patch

On Saturday October 3rd, we went to the pumpkin patch located at Yankee Farms. The girls who attended were Eliza, Allison, Sami, Katie, Addie, Alyssa, Sinclair, and myself. We first went through a challenging corn maze that was a lot of fun. After the maze we went on a quest to find our pumpkins. Everyone had a lot fun picking out their pumpkins and buying some of the other items sold at the shop. Overall, it was a lot of fun and everyone enjoyed the experience.

Posted in Blog on January 22nd, 2021 by Christi Reed

There was a craft fair held on October 11th at the lodge. They sold grand apparel, nail art, candles, jewelry, honey, crafts, cleaning supplies and more. There was also a stand created by Allison where she sold hand painted jean jackets and whiskey bottles. Everything sold there was awesome and everyone who showed up loved it.

Progressive Dinner

Posted in Blog on January 21st, 2021 by Christi Reed

On Saturday, September 26th, our assembly traveled back to 3 different time eras in just 5 hours! Our first stop was the lodge where we loaded into the cars and were given the clues for the first time period. We arrived at the Dawson’s house and entered the Roaring 20’s. Thank you to our host Mom Robin for the appetizers! As the time at the first house came to an end, we were given clues for the 2nd house. We adventured on our way to the house of the Martin’s and entered the 50’s time period. We had a lovely main course meal prepared by Mom Erika and Mom Paula! At this stop we watched the MCHQWA Ball virtually and cheered on the amazing co-host of the show, from our hometown, Vanessa! When the zoom ended, the clues for the final location were revealed. We were then on our way and arrived at the Kiffer’s house for a Colonial themed dessert. We had desserts by candlelight and were served by Mom Nancy and Mr. Zachary.

We had a great night bonding with our sisters and experiencing different types of food from our great hosts. Thank you to our Rainbow adults for making this event possible!
