Masonic Home of Virginia – MAHOVA
Posted in Blog on May 7th, 2018 by WebmasterOn April 14th, we visited the residents of the Masonic Home of Virginia – MAHOVA. The ride down there was long but Eliza was in the car with me so I didn’t get bored. I had written a letter to one of the Grandparents that we saw at our visit in January and I was able to meet her in person while we were there. Betty wasn’t feeling well so I couldn’t talk to her very long, but it was nice to be able to meet her. We also saw the MAHOVA King and Queen again. We walked through the halls and at the cozy corner met up with the woman that we saw from our last visit and she is over 100 years old. She escorted us to the dining room where we had lunch and talked to the residents while we were there. Lunch was pretty good. After our visit with the MAHOVA residents we headed over to the state Ritual Competitions at the Scottish Rite Temple in Richmond.
