On February 1^st, 2022, Ashburn Rainbow Assembly had an incredible installation at the Ashburn-Sterling Lodge. Many amazing girls got installed into new stations. We even had visitors from all across Virginia. Samantha was installed as the Worthy Advisor. Her theme was faith, trust and a little bit of pixie dust. Samantha’s theme comes from her last term as Worthy Advisor as Covid hit in the middle of her term. The installation was followed by a reception with tasty and savory food on the tables. A personal favorite for most of the younger girls were pixie sticks.

Samantha brought in statues, giant stuffed animals and lots of lights and plants to decorate the space for the event. In the middle of the bow stations, she created a pond with shells and crab. Some of the Masons even dressed as pirates for the installation! It was a wonderful installation, and we look forward to a great term with Samantha!

Ashburn Assembly

This is what it is like when both of your brothers are DeMolays. There is ever more traveling on top of Rainbow. There is a lot of Chipotle spirit nights and game nights you are not allowed to go to. This year, I am the DeMolay flag bearer, and I wanted this flag because my brothers are 3rd generation DeMolays. For an example of it being chaotic, the other day the boys from Ashburn were late for the Conclave meeting because they went to get Mexican so I had to eat my quesadilla like the flash!

It has been about a year of me in Rainbow. It has been a blast of fun and service. Even though we had to live through the hard times of Covid 19, your Rainbow sisters will always help you with whatever you need. I am ready to continue the journey with everyone!

This is some big news!  Did you know that Mom J has a son that’s not Ike?! He is a very important person in helping the Supreme Inspector. He fixes her computer and helps her plan. He even set up the original state website!  Stay tuned for more mystery siblings.
