Brotherhood Dance

Posted in Blog on March 4th, 2018 by admin

The Brotherhood Dance was really fun. It was a nice opportunity to mingle with youths from other Masonic Bodies like Job’s Daughters and DeMolay. Rainbow Girls from all over Virginia were there, not just Richmond girls though it was held at the Scottish Rite Temple in Richmond. We danced with each other like there was no tomorrow. Definitely going again next year.

Grand Officer and Grand Representative Fun Event

The Grand Officer and Grand Representative Fun Event at the Virginia Museum of Fine Arts went very well and we learned so much about the history behind the art. We also played white elephant exchange which is where we traded gifts and got to steal other people’s gift if we wanted it. The whole event itself was a fun learning experience and I know all of us enjoyed it and would love to do it again.

Richmond Assembly – Grand Cross of Color Observance

Posted in Blog on March 4th, 2018 by admin

Each year on November 15th we designate this day for the Grand Cross of Color Observance. Richmond Assembly #10 held a dinner at Olive Garden and had a wonderful attendance with current and Majority Rainbow Girls and Parents who continue to dedicate themselves in the Order of the Rainbow for Girls for an outstanding service. We look forward to getting together each year for dinner on this day.

Amaranth Bake Sale

Posted in Blog on February 10th, 2018 by Webmaster

On January 18th, Manassas Assembly #13 hosted a bake sale for the Amaranth at the Lodge to raise money for Katie’s charities, Supreme 2018, and the Supreme Temple fund. I made it to the Lodge just before 7, as I came home late because the activity bus I was supposed to ride home came late. We sold pies, cookies, fudge, bread, and muffins before the Amaranth meeting. The girls who were there were myself, Isabella, Joella, Gigi, Katie, and Sami. We earned $85 to give to Katie’s charities. Go us!
