On Saturday, June 9th, Manassas Assembly attended the Her-Burn DeMolay Installation. Carter went in as Master Councilor. Emma, Vanessa, Sami, Ella, and myself attended. Mom Erin, Mom Paula, and Dad Wyatt were our drivers. We made a couple of stops and when you are with a group from Rainbow, its always an adventure! We hung out until the dance later that night!

Last Saturday, June 16th, Manassas Assembly had a lodge cleanup and an Adopt- A- Spot. We had 6 girls go out to pick up trash along the road. We also had 4 girls stay inside to start to clean out the cabinets and drawers. The kitchen was pretty gross but I think we did a pretty good job cleaning it out! Who knows what you will find in the back of the cabinet from an old lodge!! Dad Clancy went and got pizza for lunch. We ate lunch together and then cleaned up our supplies. The day was a huge success!

Lodge Clean Up Report:

On, June 16th was the lodge clean up and the Adopt-a- Spot, this article is about the lodge clean up. The lodge clean up was productive since we lined the drawers with all new liners. We washed a lot of dishes and I may or may not have splashed a couple of people with water! We had a lot of fun and Dad Clancy bought us all some pizza which we all enjoyed!

Manassas Adopt-a-Spot

Posted in Blog on July 25th, 2018 by Christi Reed

The adopt a spot was on June 16th.  The girls met up at the lodge around 11 am.  We had extra girls come, so we divided into two groups.  Some cleaned the road and others cleaned the lodge kitchen.  Those who heading to the road were: Sami, Aaliyah, Zoey, Batu, M’Balu and myself.  The adults were: my Nana and Dad Clancy.  It was really hot out and I don’t do that well in the heat!  Luckily, there wasn’t a lot of trash.  Sami and I along with my Nana went to the far side of the road.  Even though there wasn’t a lot of trash, we found, I guess you can say, “cool things”, like a pair of cutting wire tool.  We all made it to the end of the road at the same time.  We came together to take a picture under our sign.  We then headed back to the lodge, where the girls helped finished cleaning up the kitchen.  It was a nice day and a great way to spend time together with my Rainbow Sisters.
