On February 20th, about thirty Rainbow Girls accompanied the elders at the Masonic Home for Bingo. It was a lot of fun mingling with the residents of the Masonic Home of Virginia.

Then we all gathered down the road at Babcock Lodge for a charity dinner and dance. The night was full of music and laughter. It was an excellent experience for my first time going to something like this. There was a DJ, bubble machine, and most of all, friends.

Tidewater DeMolay Installation

Posted in Blog on March 29th, 2016 by Webmaster

The Tidewater Installation for the DeMolay on March 5, 2016 was fun. Three of us from Norfolk Assembly LT were in attendance. Gabe was installed as Master Counselor and Abbey from Smithfield Assembly became Chapter Sweetheart. After the Installation there was a dance. They played songs like “Cupid Shuffle”, “Biker Shuffle”, and “Cotton-Eyed Joe”. Everyone danced to these and looked like they were having fun. At the very end of the night the DJ played “A Thousand Years” by Christina Perri. I enjoyed this Installation and Dance a lot and I hope I can go to more.

Kempsville DeMolay Installation

Posted in Blog on March 27th, 2016 by Webmaster

DeMolay InstallationHampton Assembly attended the Kempsville Chapter DeMolay Installation on a recent Saturday night. Jared was elected Master Councilor. All the boys did a wonderful job and they had so many visitors they had to add chairs on the sidelines and in the West. Dad Williams did the Flower Talk and we were all impressed with his ritual work.

Afterwards there was a dance and lots of people stayed and hung out until late.

Olivia

Roanoke DeMolay Installation

Posted in Blog on March 25th, 2016 by Webmaster

Roanoke DeMolayRachal and I travelled on a rainy Sunday to Roanoke to attend their Installation. It is always fun to go there and see the guys. They don’t get many visitors because they are so far away and they don’t have Rainbow Girls nearby. Tidewater and Kempsville Demolay also went. They were happy to see us. Keith Yancey was their new Master Councilor. The Installation was very nice. At the reception we had sandwiches and chips while we sat and visited with everyone. It was nice to catch up wth them since we don’t see them often.

On the way home, we did some sight seeing and took lots of pictures. It is a long drive but we love getting to spend time together.

Much Rainbow Love,
Olivia
