Assemblies

Virginia Rainbow is organized into local units called Assemblies, each sponsored by a local Masonic Order.

Each Rainbow Assembly has regular meetings twice a month on a set schedule, as well as service projects and fun activities. The youth leader is called the “Worthy Advisor” who presides over the meetings where the girls attend to business and the workings of the Assembly; and perform memorized work. The girls themselves, who range in age from 10 to 20 years old, with the guidance of their Mother Advisor and Advisory Board, are responsible for the financial management, correspondence, and organization of all Assembly activities. Pledges, aged 6-9 years, hold their own activities in conjunction with the Assembly.
