Destiny Court Installation- 1/29/22
Posted in Blog on April 16th, 2022 by Christi ReedOn January 29th, several members from Quantico-Freedom and Manassas Assemblies attended the Installation of Destiny Court, Order of the Amaranth. My mother advisor, Mom Ange, was installed as Royal Matron. I have only been to one other Amaranth event before, so it was interesting to see how different it is from Rainbow. Mom Sherry and Dad Whidden, the Grand Royal Matron and Grand Royal Patron, were also there. Something I think is interesting about Amaranth is that the Grand Royal Matron and Patron are invited to sit in the East with the local presiding Officers. Mom Ange announced the term theme and she that the court will hold an Easter Egging fundraiser. I was asked to put rhinestones on the cape that Mom Ange got to wear, which took a long time, but it looked great once it was finished, and very sparkly in the Assembly room lights! I’m glad I was able to help, and I will definitely be around at more Amaranth events in the future.
