Rainbow Retreat

On the weekend of October 25-27, we went to Keezletown for Rainbow Retreat. On Friday night, there was a movie night and games. First on Saturday morning, we painted jars to make them wizard of oz characters. Then, there were paint wars, which included a stamp relay to see which team could stamp their team name in paint on the members’ tshirts the fastest, capture the flag with water squirters filled with paint, and a trust fall exercise where everyone had paint on their hands to hold the person in the middle up. Later in the afternoon, there was a bake off where each team had to make a wizard of oz themed cake. That night, awards were given out for the competitions. The next morning, there was a church service and then we all went our separate ways home. A great time was had by all with many memories made.

Quantico – Freedom Installation 1/11/2020

On Saturday, January 11th, Assembly #6 had its installation of officers for the spring term.  There were many Rainbow members from across the state in attendance.  Zoe N. was installed as Worthy Advisor and a few Manassas Assembly members were installing officers.  Zoe’s term looks like it will be fun and the theme for the term is “Once Upon a Dream”.  I know she will do a good job and I look forward to teaming up with her since we are both Worthy Advisors this term.

Drive Home Scary Stories

Posted in Blog on March 30th, 2020 by Christi Reed

On the way home from the drive in movie theater, we listened to many scary stories to help keep us awake. Lauren, Sarah and I were laughing so hard when Mom Christi started to freak out about the stories! They were all very spooky and helped made the ride go by faster from the long ride home from Manassas. Even though it was scary listening to these stories, I had a lot of fun laughs to share with some of my Rainbow sisters!

Quantico – Freedom Constitution

Quantico – Freedom Constitution 1/11/2020

On Saturday, January 11th, Assembly #6 got its Constitution!  There were many Rainbow members from across the state in attendance.  It was exciting to witness since I have never seen one before this.  Mom J presided over the ceremony and many other adults from the Grand Executive Board participated as well.  It was especially nice since many of the members in Quantico – Freedom Assembly were once part of Manassas Assembly.
