On June 2nd, Katie, Sami, Gigi, Mom Robin and I piled into the Chevy Malibu and headed down to Hampton at 5:30 in the morning. We stopped along the way to get some yummy Wawa drinks to wake us up. Once we got to Hampton, all of Virginia Rainbow met up and got ready to pick up some trash! All of Rainbow was in the same spot around the edge of the Bay. We found lots of great trash items, for example:  a chair, a ring pop, some crabs, and so much more. It was so much fun to be with all of Virginia Rainbow at the beach and help the beach at the same time!

The Grand service project Clean the Bay was a total success. We did have to walk awhile to get to the area we were cleaning but it was still fun because we acted like the trash bags were kites. While we were cleaning we found a lot of crabs but no turtles this time. After we were finished we all had a picnic near the bay and I was so happy to see everyone before we go to Grand Assembly. You had such an amazing year Olivia and all of Richmond is proud of you.

This term, Manassas Assembly is doing a little fun competition! I made coin jars with all the girls names on them and three littles bags. We have already collected the coins two times this term and we will have another one next month. The Girl that raises the most money will receive a prize! Everyone better watch out, our little Ella is on a mission!! Our goal is to raise $200 to go to our charities!!

The Adopt–a-Spot was held on April 22nd, on Ashton Avenue.  The Girls who came were Katie, Sami, Alyssa, JoElla, and me.  The chaperones were my nana, Mom Angie and Dad Bill. We arrived at the Lodge at 11:30 and talked about who would ride in which cars and then we went to Ashton Ave.  As the Girls stood in a circle, Dad Bill explained the directions and safety rules to us.  We all grabbed an orange vest and a trash picker-upper.  We broke out in 3 groups of three with two girls and one adult on each side.  We found lots of weird trash.  I took pictures. After we finished, we headed back to the Lodge where we found the Girls doing a little scrapbook.  My Nana and I went the very next day and printed out the pictures.  It was a nice day to pick up trash and it was Earth Day!
