Richmond #10 Celebrates Rainbow Sunday

Posted in Blog on July 14th, 2018 by Casey Humphries

We had a great time at Waters Edge Church to celebrate Rainbow Sunday. We had a sleepover at Mom Graham’s house the day before, and after church we gave out little Easter bags. I was glad to see all the girls enjoying the service project and having a good time like always. That’s all for Rainbow Sunday and we hope everyone had a amazing Easter.

Clean the Bay Day

Posted in Blog on June 23rd, 2018 by Casey Humphries

The Grand service project Clean the Bay was a total success. We did have to walk awhile to get to the area we were cleaning but it was still fun because we acted like the trash bags were kites. While we were cleaning we found a lot of crabs but no turtles this time. After we were finished we all had a picnic near the bay and I was so happy to see everyone before we go to Grand Assembly. You had such an amazing year Olivia and all of Richmond is proud of you.

DeMolay Conclave Dance: By Sierra

Posted in Blog on August 23rd, 2017 by Casey Humphries

On July 22nd 2017, sisters Sierra, Taylor, and Victoria attended the DeMolay Conclave dance held at Christopher Newport University. It was very fun to see so many of the Masonic Youth just dancing and enjoying themselves. There were a few slow songs and some of the Richmond girls even got asked to dance! JPGWA Rachal Murray and GWA Libby Whitehouse were there, as well as girls from a lot of our Assemblies. We got to see some of our old friends as well.  Over all it was a fun night!

Richmond Escapes! By Taylor

Posted in Blog on August 22nd, 2017 by Casey Humphries

Richmond Assembly had to forgo their meeting on July 25th because of work being done at the Temple so instead we were able to go to Laser Quest and try out the Escape Rooms.

The escape room was so much fun. We had two rooms, one that the younger girls and pledges did, and one for the older girls. In the older girls’ room we had to open a chest that contained more locked boxes and inside the little boxes we had to find the key to get out. We finally solved the puzzle but it was one minute after the time was up. The younger girls won their escape room so we took funny pictures. We still received laser tag coupons and were able to play 2 games of laser tag as a group. It was a lot of fun and I look forward to doing it again!
