Masonic Family Day

The Norfolk girls were so happy to attend the annual Masonic Family Day to go visit our loved ones and hang out with our whole Rainbow family. There were many fun games that we all got to do and we all even walked in the parade and sang our chants! Following the parade, the members of the Junior Grand Executive Board had a fundraiser for the Virginian Rainbow fund. People only had to pay $1 to pie in the face a JGEB member of their choice. We were able to raise almost $300 for this fundraiser! Overall, it was such a fun day full of games, food, family and pie that will forever be in our memories for years to come!

The Norfolk girls were asked to serve dinner at Lake Drummond lodge. Kaitlyn, Phoenix, Sarah, and Jordan were there. We served the men of Lake Drummond for their stated. We served mashed potatoes, green beans, roast beef, rolls, and cupcakes. It is always a joy to serve our sponsoring bodies.

Grand Visitation

Posted in Blog on April 17th, 2020 by Christi Reed

On September 28th, Fredericksburg and Richmond had their Grand Visitation. Kaitlyn, Phoenix, Jordan, and Sarah were there. They had a beautiful meeting and their skit was adorable. They talked about everything they had learned from Rainbow and being in the Worthy Advisor position. Mom Hart, Supreme Faith, was there, as well as the Grand Representative to Virginia from South Carolina. It was a pleasure to be there and meet both of them. It was a beautiful Grand Visitation and I am so proud of both of those assemblies.

Serving at a Wedding

Posted in Blog on April 16th, 2020 by Christi Reed
The Norfolk girls were asked to serve at the Guffey family wedding. Kaitlyn, Phoenix, Sarah, Aaliyah, Jamyah, Lauren, and Jordan were there. We served food to the wedding guests and had a lot of fun. It was a beautiful wedding and I’m glad to have had the opportunity to witness it and help out the bride and groom on their very important day.
