On July 27, DeMolay had their annual Conclave dance. Mary, Caroline, Phoenix, Jamyah, Lauren, Sarah, Katliyn, and I were there. It was a fun event and they played a lot of different songs. I was able to see my rainbow sisters from other assemblies. We all had a fun night.

On July 27th, Kaitlyn, Sarah, Caroline, and I went to the Virginia Demolay Conclave Banquet. The banquet was held at Christopher Newport University. There was chocolate cake, which was really good. Many awards were given out during the banquet, speeches were made by distinguished guests, and there was the installation of the Deputy State Master Councilor and State Master Councilor. Jared from Kempsville Chapter was installed as Deputy State Master Councilor and Noah from Ashburn Chapter was installed as State Master Councilor. A good time was had by all!

On July 26, we had a lodge cleaning. Jamyah, Kaiti, Katliyn, and Sarah were there. We started by cleaning and then we started to decorate for our upcoming installation. When we finished, some of us practiced our parts for the installation.

Manassas Installation

Posted in Blog on July 31st, 2019 by Christi Reed
On July 21, Manassas Assembly had their installation of officers with Allison S. going in as the new Worthy Advisor of their assembly for the ensuing term. Sarah R. and I were so happy to come and see this wonderful installation. Allison’s motto is “Be a flamingo in a world full of pigeons”. To match her motto, everyone was handed out pink flamingo necklaces to wear during the ceremony. The charity she choose for her term was ACTS which is a Prince William County Charity. They help the community by having a suicide and crisis hotline, food pantry, and a thrift store for people who need certain necessities. To finish of the day, we all went down to have an amazing spaghetti dinner! Overall, it was such a beautiful installation with so much color and excitement throughout the whole ceremony! I am so excited to see Allison lead her assembly and see all the accomplishments that she will have in these next six months!
