Manassas Adopts-a-Spot
Posted in Blog on June 11th, 2018 by WebmasterThe Adopt–a-Spot was held on April 22nd, on Ashton Avenue. The Girls who came were Katie, Sami, Alyssa, JoElla, and me. The chaperones were my nana, Mom Angie and Dad Bill. We arrived at the Lodge at 11:30 and talked about who would ride in which cars and then we went to Ashton Ave. As the Girls stood in a circle, Dad Bill explained the directions and safety rules to us. We all grabbed an orange vest and a trash picker-upper. We broke out in 3 groups of three with two girls and one adult on each side. We found lots of weird trash. I took pictures. After we finished, we headed back to the Lodge where we found the Girls doing a little scrapbook. My Nana and I went the very next day and printed out the pictures. It was a nice day to pick up trash and it was Earth Day!
