Thank You from Springfield Assembly LT
Posted in Blog on September 30th, 2014 by WebmasterDear Virginia Rainbow,
On behalf of Mrs. Fe Suaco, Member of the House of Gold and new Mother Advisor of Springfield Assembly LT, I extend my sincere thank you to all of you who helped in any way with the Institution, Initiation, and Installation of Springfield Assembly LT last Sunday. This significant occasion was made possible because of all of Virginia Rainbow and our Sponsoring Orders pulling together as a Masonic Family. This includes all those who attended during a holiday weekend!
The Grand Assembly of Pennsylvania donated the pedestals and signet: the Grand Assembly of Florida donated the Pot of Gold and its contents. We thank them in their effort of help Rainbow grow. Thank you to Fairfax Assembly for loaning the weights for the ribbons. That was a great help.
The Instituting Team did a beautiful job, as did the Installing Officers, who were very impressive.
Many thanks to the Grand Officers who participated in the Initiation ceremony. You did an outstanding job with your new Grand Offices! We hope you know how special you are!
Nellie Custis Chapter and Springfield Lodge served wonderful food for the event, and we all certainly enjoyed the fellowship. The Advisory Board of the Assembly has done a terrific job in organizing and sponsoring the girls.
There are certainly many others who deserve a round of applause. Most of all, we would like to thank the 14 new Rainbow Girls who have begun their Rainbow journey. Thank you for joining our ranks and for getting your Assembly off to a successful start. Misha, you did a fantastic job presiding at your installation, and we know you will have a productive term of office.
In Rainbow Love and Service,
Mom J
Stand up, Stand out, and Make a Difference
Posted in Blog on July 13th, 2014 by WebmasterToday, July 13th 2014, Brianna Quarnaccio was installed as the Worthy Advisor of Smithfield Assembly #5. Her theme is “Stand up, Stand out, and Make a Difference.” Brianna’s mascot for this term is the Zebra, because not any zebra has the same stripe pattern, just like how every person is different and special in there own way. She picked the Ronald McDonald House of Norfolk as her charity. She plans to raise money for this organization by doing Applebee’s, World’s Finest Chocolate, and Bubba and Frank fundraisers. It seems like Smithfield Assembly is going to have a fun but busy term, from volunteering at the Ronald McDonald House, collecting donations at Christmas light displays, visit nursing homes, and cleaning lodges. But, Brianna’s term isn’t all focused on doing charity work, she also plans on having sleepovers, bowling parties, and going to the Haunted Temple with her assembly.
