Scrapbooking Fun!
Posted in Blog on July 19th, 2019 by Christi ReedOn June 23rd, we made a scrap book for Grand Assembly to show how active we were this year. Our scrap book was made out of pictures taken at different events throughout the year. Everybody separated into tiny groups. Kaitlyn, Aaliyah, Mary, Phoenix, Sarah, Jamyah, Kayla, and many Rainbow parents to name helped make our scrap book special. In my group was Sarah and Jamyah. Kaitlyn took the pages that everyone did and added her special final touches. We came in first place for the competition at Grand Assembly!

Grand Assembly 2019
Posted in Blog on July 15th, 2019 by Christi ReedGrand Assembly 2019
From June 28th-30th, 2019, I attended our Grand Session; “Uniquely Beautiful, Uniquely You.” Half of my Assembly drove down the night before, but the rest of Quantico-Freedom Assembly arrived with plenty of time to spare in the morning, and I got to see my correspondent from Indiana, Sierra, at lunch. After many practices, we were on our way to the first session. It was fun to introduce myself as a Grand Representative for the second year in a row, and we got to see Zoey as Grand Confidential Observer. I really loved how every Grand Officer wore a different dress, because each dress reflected the person wearing it. After dinner that night, I attended the Grand Representative T-shirt competition. M’Balu from our assembly won first place! The next day, we were up early for breakfast to bond as an Assembly. After the first session, I went to the Grand Officer and Grand Representative Luncheon with Zoey, M’Balu, JoElla, and Batu. After that, we went to the closing session. Before the Banquet, we opened letters from Richmond Assembly and talked about future plans as an Assembly. During the Banquet, I received a Grand Representative position for the third year. That night, most of us skipped the dance and talked in one of our rooms.
On Sunday, we attended the devotional and got installed as a Grand Representative. It’s really cool that I am one of the oldest Grand Representatives and that I can help the younger girls. I am excited for what this Grand Year brings, and I hope that Quantico-Freedom Assembly can be stronger than ever!
