Kempsville Chapter of DeMolay invited Hampton Assembly and some other youth groups to join them for a Go To Church / Lunch and Laser Tag Event on November 15th. We met them at The Prince of Peace Lutheran Church in Virginia Beach. Members from DeMolay, Jobs Daughters, and Rainbow attended. The people at the church were very excited to have visitors and were very welcoming. After the service we went to a Mexican restaurant for lunch. We were planning to play laser tag but when we got to the venue, it was very crowded so we decided to go to Lynnhaven Mall instead. We walked around, talked, and had a visit with Santa. It was a lot of fun and I enjoy seeing friends from other groups.

Bethel Installation

After returning from Wreaths Across America, Rachal and I decided we could make it to Ocean View Lodge for Bethel 3’s Installation. I love going to that Lodge and seeing the beautiful murals on the walls there and driving by the beach is always a wondrous view. Isabella went in as Honored Queen. She is very sweet and did a great job. I loved her star carrying pieces that lit up. She had a few guest singers that were really talented. Lots of other friends were there too. After the Installation, we ate and they had a dance. Even after a long day, Rachal and I had a fun time.

Breakfast with Santa

Posted in Blog on December 24th, 2015 by Webmaster

On December 19, Hampton Assembly helped Monitor Lodge with Breakfast with Santa! It was an open to the public event where kids and their families could come in and have a warm pancake breakfast. They got to eat up and see Santa. Many of them sat on St. Nick’s lap and told him what they wanted for Christmas, got pictures with him, and a small gift as well.

Bowling for Scholarship

Posted in Blog on December 1st, 2015 by Casey Humphries

The Scholarship Bowl-a-thon was so much fun to go to! Many of the Virginia Rainbow Girls were there, and they all did great on bowling. Richmond Assembly #10 played four rounds and we had been texting the group next to us and the bowling alley was just amazing. The food was delicious and the service was just so great. Richmond Assembly #10 didn’t win a trophy but we’re glad that other people did, and my group can’t wait to see everyone again. So Richmond Assembly #10 was very happy to be there and can’t wait to see everyone again at the next function.
