On May 28^th, 2022, we went to Kings Dominion. My mom, sister, 2 of my friends, and I went together.  We met up with others from the assembly and we talked with some of the them at Starbucks. Then we went to find a small roller coaster, Woodstock’s Express because 3/5 of us had never been on a roller coaster. I was one of the 3 and it was super fun!  Woodstock Express was a 3/5 so it was a good one to start with. Then we rode on some of the Snoopy rides. We went to the jungle themed area and rode the Anaconda, that one was super fun and my friend Dani passed out on the ride. It was a 5/5. We got in line for Twisted Timbers but then the ride stopped with people at the top and an employee said that there was a temporary delay on the roller coaster so we went to ride on the Delirium and Bad Apples. After that we went and got some pretzels and waters.

Catalina – Manassas Assembly #13

Dani played a game where she had to throw the coin on the glass plate under all the stuffed animals. She got one on and won a rainbow monkey she named Richard. Stella and Frani also won smaller stuffed animals from playing other games. It was 9 minutes until they closed.  So, we went on our last ride, the drop tower as the fireworks were going off. Frani and I went on it. We went higher than the fireworks and when we dropped back down to the ground the tree nearby shook due to the winds from the drop tower. A couple people got off because they were scared but he asked us if we wanted to go again and we said yes.  The view was yet again gorgeous! As we got off the fireworks stopped, and we played some more games as we were leaving, I spent my money on a Snoopy hoodie. And we picked up some other souvenirs. It was a fun trip and so exciting I would go again! 

Catalina – Manassas Assembly #13

On January 22^nd , 2022, Manassas Assembly hosted a paint night.  We ended up painting a very beautiful purple water scene with a dock- and it was all led by Allison, who is absolutely amazing at painting, and we couldn’t thank her enough!  Every painting looked beautiful, and we even had a few people go “rouge” and paint their own beautiful masterpiece!  We all had a really fun time and it was a great way to just relax a bit.  I can’t wait for the next one.

On January 16^th, 2022, Manassas Assembly had their laser tag event.  We ended up going to Uptown Alley.  We all arrived and decided to start with bowling, there were 2 teams of girls, and we had a lot of fun.  After we finished with bowling, we all got super excited and headed over to the laser tag portion.  We got all geared up and immediately started forming alliances… and of course talked a lot of smack to the others to get in the spirit of the game.  We played a few rounds and had a blast while doing it!  Then after we finished, some girls went out for food, and we all headed home.
