Saturday, 4-28-18, the MCHQWA Ball was held. The girls from our Assembly that went were, Kate, JoElla, Katie, Sami, Delanie, Gigi, Zoey, Jazmyn, Eliza, Ashley, Jessica, Mackenzie, and Akshita. Akshita brought a prospect to the Ball. A visiting member from South Carolina, Alison, was also there. The ball was a lot of fun. About midway through the ball, I had hurt my foot, so I was forced to sit down and rest it a little bit. I grabbed a cup of Coke, which turned out to be my slow dance partner. We danced side-by-side through all of the slow songs. The introductions were fun and we cheered for everyone. All in all, the ball was one very fun place to be that night! I can’t wait to go next term!

Manassas Assembly #13

On April 14th, Manassas Assembly #13 went to Competitions. The Girls there were Katie, Sami, Isabella, Batu, M’Balu, Isabella, Alyssa, Gigi, Kate, Eliza, Dalanie, Zoey, Ella and myself. I ended up arriving late because of a tournament I had to attend beforehand, but I made it just in time for the Fidelity competition. I did three competitions: The Fidelity Lecture, the Rose Lecture, and the Dad Talk. Once I finished competing in all the events I was competing in, we all sat on our phones, and at one point, M’Balu and Batu were brushing Eliza and Isabella’s hair, and I joined in with them. It soon led to us doing each other’s hair and makeup, as Isabella and I had makeup with us. Eliza did a crown in my hair which looked amazing, and she also taught me how to do it, and I did her hair and makeup. Batu and I also did Zoey’s hair in cute space buns which were just adorable. I ended up staying there till about 6:30, and I got home at about 9. I had lots of fun, and I’m definitely competing next year!

Manassas Assembly #13

On April 22nd, Dalanie, Isabella, Maribelle, Alyssa, Gigi, Sami, Katie, Kate Jazmyn, Joella and I helped with delivering a huge meal to the local fire station.  When we got there, there were only two firefighters at the station.  But as time passed, more arrived.  The Girls and I had to carry a lot of food up two flights of stairs.  Of course, as soon as we got to the station, Jazmyn and I were extremely curious as to the whereabouts of the fire pole.   Eventually one of the firefighters showed it to us.  As soon as I saw it, I knew that it was going to be the highlight of my day!  We took a lot of great pictures and I couldn’t believe how much fun I had that day. We then took one last picture with the firefighters and the day was over.
