On May 26, Manasseh Lodge had its annual Strawberry Night Dinner. There were 55 people present, including the Rainbow Girls that attended which were Gigi, Zoey and me. The Grand Master came to visit and was handing out pins and meeting all the families who came to visit. The food was delicious and dessert was of course, strawberries!  Everyone went to the Lodge room for presentations and remarks from the Grand Master after dinner. Everyone had a great time!

Manassas Assembly #13

Mom Erin, Mom Paula, Vanessa, Katie, Sami, Dalanie, Gigi, Ella, Noah and I went to the Homecoming GV on Saturday, May 19th. There was a floating shark flying (swimming?) in the air while the skit was going on. The girls wore shark fins and other aquatic things while singing a song and telling facts. Everyone was laughing and we all had a good time.

Manassas Assembly #13

Manassas Assembly has been communicating with residents from the Masonic Home. We visited MAHOVA for the first time this term in February. We all love them so much we wrote letters to them! Many girls in our Assembly have multiple “grandparents”! Our Assembly decided to plan another visit in April on our way to competitions. That time we had lunch with them and socialized. We visited the King and Queen of the Home. Mr. and Mrs. Swansey took us around the corner from their room to a new resident that had just moved in a week before our visit. She didn’t know much about us, but she definitely loved the visit! I decided to write a letter to her. Our Assembly has even received some letters back from our grandparents! I love the Masonic Home, all of the residents make me so happy and I wish I had more time to spend with everyone! They all have something so unique about them and they are so special to visit with!

Manassas Assembly #13

On Saturday, May 12th, Katie, Sami, Maribel, Gigi, and myself, as well as some of our Rainbow adults and a couple pledges, attended the Assembly’s game night. We got to meet a girl from Fredericksburg named Ana, along with her Mom, Mom Kate. It lasted from 6 to 9. There were lots of games but some of the most fun were Spoons, Yahtzee, and Life. Before we ordered pizza we snacked on chips and Oreos while listening to the radio. Overall, it was a fun night.
