Manassas Christmas Party

Manassas Christmas Party – 12/18/2019

This year I was tasked with planning the Manassas Assembly Christmas party.  It was held following the meeting.  The food included pizza, cake, cookies and drinks.  We started the party with the gift exchange which was very civilized compared to what I witnessed at the BHS ILITE Robotics party.  Then we heard the winners for the ugly sweater contest and most festive dressed contest.  After that we play musical chairs.  Let me just say that I apologize to everyone who may have been injured during this game.  I had no idea it would get so physical!  Several people just sat out from the start since it is a competitive game and they had festive outfits on that restricted movement.  It seemed like everyone had a good time.  Can’t wait until next year!

DeMolay Fall Fest – 10/19/2019

After the Alzheimer’s Walk and breakfast, we met up at the Manassas Lodge to help with the DeMolay Fall Fest.  We helped prepare food for the DeMolay event.  Once the food was done, we set it out and served the DeMolay and their adult helpers.  I stayed until a little after 1pm and then I needed to go home and get ready for the Battlefield High School homecoming dance.  Another full day for this Rainbow Girl!

Springfield Karaoke Night

Springfield Karaoke Night

On November 23rd, 2019, Quantico-Freedom Assembly visited our Rainbow Sisters at Springfield Assembly for their Karaoke Night. Those in attendance from Quantico-Freedom were Zoey, JoElla, Kassie, Mom Ange, Mom Jean, and myself. Many songs were sung, and Mom Ange and Zoey both won very intense rounds of musical chairs, and won very delicious cake as a reward! I had an awesome time seeing my friends from Springfield, Ashburn, and Manassas!

Kena Shriners Crab Fest

Kena Shriners Crab Fest – 9-29-2019

On September 29th, I helped to serve and clean up at the Kena Shriners Crab Fest.  I was there with Gigi, Dalanie, Samantha, Sinclair, Mom Priscilla, Dad Tom, Dad Clancy, and Mom Louisa.  We worked longer than originally thought but everything turned out well.  Everyone seemed to enjoy their meal – all you can eat crabs!  They were watching the football game while they ate. There was a pretty good turnout.
