April 15, 2017 – On Saturday morning, we helped to set up benches and chairs at the George Washington Masonic National Memorial for their Easter Sunday service. We arrived shortly after 9am and we brought Joella, Ashley, and Zoe in our car. There were so many people helping that we finished in about 50 minutes which they said was a record. From our Assembly, we had Vanessa, Joella, Zoey, Batu, M’Balu, Ashley, Zoe, and me. Our adults were Mom Paula, Dad Wyatt, Mom Jean, Mom Erin, and Mom Louisa. Once we were done, we got a large group picture and we were able to see the gift shop since it was open after the setup was complete.
This was a fun experience since we got to see so many people from Northern Virginia help in a common cause.
