This is what it is like when both of your brothers are DeMolays. There is ever more traveling on top of Rainbow. There is a lot of Chipotle spirit nights and game nights you are not allowed to go to. This year, I am the DeMolay flag bearer, and I wanted this flag because my brothers are 3rd generation DeMolays. For an example of it being chaotic, the other day the boys from Ashburn were late for the Conclave meeting because they went to get Mexican so I had to eat my quesadilla like the flash!

There was a craft fair held on October 11^th at the lodge. They sold grand apparel, nail art, candles, jewelry, honey, crafts, cleaning supplies and more. There was also a stand created by Allison where she sold hand painted jean jackets and whiskey bottles. Everything sold there was awesome and everyone who showed up loved it.

Elina – Manassas Assembly #13

On October 11^th, 2020, The Prince William County DeMolay held a craft fair at Manassah Lodge.  There were many booths with different items such as, Natural honey, Paparazzi (jewelry), Norwex (cleaning supplies), Shining sol (candles/scents),  Color street (dry nail polish), Usborne books, Pampered chef, Virginia Rainbow Grand Merch, fall décor, tickets for the DeMolay Fall-Scare-Fest, Beautiful Artwork (on bottles and jackets), and snacks.  All COVID-19 and social distancing precautions were met.  Everyone had a good time getting to walk around and look at/buy cool things.  All of the booths did a wonderful job, and everyone walked out happy!  It was a great day.

Herndon DeMolay Installation – April 11, 2020

On Saturday, April 11, Herndon Assembly had a zoom installation due to COVID-19. This was very out of the ordinary for sure!  The lodge room was set up as it normally would be, however, all the DeMolay members and installing officers were in different places.  Installing officers were not all in Virginia, and there were some impressive visitors too!  Some guests were from as far away as South America. I could see a couple VA Rainbow members as well.  I’m sure this will be a very interesting term.
