August is the month of Masonic service. So, on the first day of August, we were already helping the Masons by serving dinner at Joppa Lodge! Becca, Melanie, Majority Member Casey, and I were helping to make sure everyone got their fair share of food. The Grand Master was there and he was very glad that we helped serve dinner! The Masons gave us a sweet love gift to show that they really appreciated our help that night. We appreciate our Masons!

Manassas Assembly started Masonic Service Month by preparing and serving dinner for the Royal Arch Masons meeting and presenting a program explaining the 7 colors of the Rainbow! We had 8 Rainbow Girls/Pledges present along with 10 board members/parents! It was a great evening serving one of the Masonic Orders along with promoting Rainbow!

At the 2013 Virginia DeMolay Conclave, the International Order of the Rainbow for Girls, along with Job’s Daughters, received the Supporting Body of the Year Award “for outstanding contributions to the Order of DeMolay”. Love Masonic Youth working together! Thank you, Virginia DeMolay!

Today was Hampton’s Installation. It was amazing even though I cried. I love the charity the Worthy Advisor has picked out. I cannot wait to see what their upcoming events are. It was worth a three hour car ride there and a three and a half hour car ride back home!
