On December 1st Hampton Assembly put on a dinner theater to raise money for the girls and our term charity, “Water is Life”. All the girls showed up ready for the last dress rehearsal early in the afternoon. We put on our costumes and began running through the play. Last minute questions were answered and we managed to finalize everything. As people came in to claim their seats, our many different characters greeted them and passed out salad. The play was broken down into 4 scenes so we could serve dinner in between. With the help of mom Toney and mom Beth, we served a delicious soup, baked ziti, and mini strawberry cheesecakes. The play went on with some improv and lots of laughs. It was the story of how the country cousins of Cricket County were moving to the city after claiming their Uncle Zeke’s will. Sara, Amelia, Dad Joe, and Elise played the city cousins. Kensley, Jasmine, Reagan, Audrey and I played the country cousins. Alex was the real estate lady, Dad Gansler was Santa, and Dad Mike was the narrator. Everyone’s participation was heartwarming and we all had a great time.

Battlefield HS Football Game August 24, 2018

All summer I had been hearing about Joella doing Color guard with the BHS Marching Band.  I heard about ordering equipment, shoes, gloves, all the practices and camp.  I even had to watch her leave Supreme Assembly early to work on the routines.  I know how hard she worked and how excited she was about being part of the Color Guard and I wasn’t the only one.  So on August 24^th some of Manassas Assembly #13 went to the first football game of the season to support Joella at her first game performance.  It was me, Gigi and Dalanie as well as Mom Priscilla, Mom Ange and Mom Louisa.  We are so proud of her and all the work she has put into this and we can’t wait to see all the things she does with Color Guard!

Krispy Kreme Donut Sale

On Saturday morning, September 8^th, we held a Krispy Kreme donut sale. We started at 8 am and ended at noon. We were at the Warrenton Giant and we sold all of our 40 dozen donuts with time to spare! We had four girls and four moms present. The girls were Kate, Dalanie, JoElla and me; and we were there with mom Priscilla, mom Ange, mom Joanne and mom Louisa. A special thanks to Dad Tom who waited in the car while we sold the donuts! It was a good sale day.

On Tuesday, September 18^th, Manassas Assembly held a spirit night fundraiser. It was held at Foster’s Grille in Manassas.  It was National Cheeseburger day too!  The food was great, but the company was even better.  I’d recommend the veggie burger and onion rings.  Thank you so much to everyone that attended to support our assembly!
