The MCHQWA Ball was an awesome night. There was plenty of dancing and plenty of fun. The Grand Worthy Advisor did a fabulous job on the introductions; a vast majority of her grand officers were in attendance. We also had two fabulous out-of- state Guest, Anadel from Myrtle Beach, South Carolina and Kelsey from Pennsylvania. The music was fun to dance to and everyone was dancing until the very end. There was a special shout out to Marina for her Birthday by Richmond Assembly #10. The dance was a great event and I cannot wait until the next one!

On September 10 there was the mid-Atlantic tournament of champions for the demolay; that night they held a dance. Rainbow girls, jobies, and a lot of demolay attended. They played music and announced the winners of the tournament. Everyone seemed to have fun and everyone was happy for the winners. After the awards, we danced the night away.

Fairfax Assembly #3

On August 11, Richmond Assembly gathered to prepare and serve dinner for the Metropolitan Lodge #11. We prepared spaghetti, bread and salads for the men and then served them each a slice of cake that Mom Rose bought saying thanks for all their help and support for our assembly. After serving dinner we all quickly changed into our formals to do a program for the lodge before their meeting. We did a program that our Grand Worthy Advisor, Nicole, created. The program explained what Rainbow was about and it described each color and what the colors of the rainbow meant to us rainbow girls. It was a beautiful program, and we had a great night serving our wonderful supporters of Metropolitan lodge #11.
