Hampton’s Installation of Officers

Posted in Blog on August 20th, 2016 by Webmaster

On August 7th, Hampton Assembly had their Installation of Officers. Kensley went in as Worthy Advisor and you could tell by the look on her face that she was ecstatic! Her theme was “A Winter Wonderland” and her mascot was snowmen. There was a big turnout from her family and the ceremony went beautifully. I was honored to be apart of her Ribbon Ceremony and I had the privilege of presenting her with her mascot by having one of our dads (Dad Mike) dress as a snowman and dance around. Everyone had a good laugh including Kensley! The Installation was a success and afterward we all went downstairs and had some good homemade food made by Kensley’s grandma. She had to sing “In Summer” to get her mascot back from Smithfield and after the day was over we were all very tired and a new Worthy Advisor was crowned! I am so excited to be in line behind her and I cannot wait to see all she does for this Assembly!!!

Her mascot is a dolphin.  Her charity is the Ronald McDonald House and Supreme Assembly 2018 which will be in Hampton, VA.  I look forward to seeing what will happen during their term.

Hampton @ Smithfield’s Installation

Posted in Blog on August 18th, 2016 by Webmaster

Hampton went to Smithfield’s Installation of Officers on August 6th. Rachal, Alexis, Kensley, Libbie, Maddy, and I all went to support our Sisters and see Brianna go in as Worthy Advisor again. Libbie and Maddy did a great job as Installing Officers and it was an overall beautiful Installation. I always love to see the Smithfield Girls in their pretty dresses and the fun things they do. Speaking of fun things, the Girls presented Brianna with a giant blow up mascot (Splash the dolphin) and they had a dance afterwards! Needless to say, everyone that stayed had a great time and we all were fed a delicious spaghetti dinner! It was a good time for everyone who came and I can’t wait to see what these amazing girls do next!

Serving Dinner at Manasseh Lodge

Posted in Blog on August 17th, 2016 by Webmaster

On Friday, August 5, Katie, Sammie, M’Balu, Batu, Gigi, Dalanie and myself served dinner to the Masons at their Stated meeting. It was their Scholarship Night and there was more than the Masons there. Mom Tammy made some very yummy jambalaya and Mom Cherry made some very tasty cornbread to go along with it. We each brought a dessert. Afterwards we all cleaned up. We had such a fun time, not only seeing and speaking with the Masons but also laughing with each other.
