Spirit Night Fundraiser

On Tuesday, September 18th, Manassas Assembly held a spirit night fundraiser. It was held at Foster’s Grille in Manassas.  It was National Cheeseburger day too!  The food was great, but the company was even better.  I’d recommend the veggie burger and onion rings.  Thank you so much to everyone that attended to support our assembly!

Prince William Installation

Posted in Blog on December 28th, 2018 by Christi Reed

On September 22nd, the Prince William Chapter DeMolay had their installation of officers.  My brother Connor was installed as Master Councilor.  He gave a speech where he jokingly blamed Mom Debbie Dunn for talking him into joining DeMolay two years ago.  He then thanked her and presented her with flowers.  All the DeMolays did a great job on their parts.  We had a baked potato bar and taco bar afterward.  It was a great installation, and I’m really proud of my brother.

FOSTER’S GRILLE SPIRIT NIGHT – OLD TOWN MANASSAS

We had a spirit night on:

Date:  Tuesday, September 18, 2018

Time:  from 4pm – 9pm

Place:  at the Manassas Foster’s Grille located at:  9417 West Street.

While I was there I saw the following people:  Mom Joanne, Dad Bill, Mom Cherry, Connor, Vanessa, Preston, Dad Wyatt, Mom Debbie, Dad Carl, Mom Ange, Mom Louisa, me and a couple more people from Amaranth but I don’t know their names.

We had fun talking and the milkshakes and chili fries were good!  I just got the information today to check on how much money we made so I hope to have that amount at the next meeting.

Kennedy Center

Posted in Blog on December 27th, 2018 by Christi Reed

On Sunday, October 16th, Manassas Assembly took a tour of the Kennedy Center in Washington D.C.  It was free of charge, and our tour guide was awesome.  He took us all around the Kennedy Center and into several of the theaters.  I didn’t realize how many gifts from other countries and pieces of artwork are displayed all around as you walk through.  Many different countries have given items such as the marble for the Hall of Nations, the crystal chandeliers, and the silk curtains in the theaters.  There are paintings, sculptures, and even wood carvings and frescoes on the ceiling in some areas.  There is even a drum from the Beijing Olympics.  It was a really fun event.
