On Saturday, January 25th, Richmond Assembly No. 10 celebrated a double installation ceremony with the theme of the “Hogwarts School of Rainbow’. First, Pledge Group Orange held their installation of officers with the assistance of their ‘big sisters’, the members of Richmond Assembly No. 10, while embracing the Hogwarts theme in spirit and dress. Then, the Assembly’s officer installation ceremony commenced and included an officer ‘sorting’ experience and a determined game of lodge room Quidditch to catch an energized pledge member representing the ‘Golden Snitch’. On Saturday, January 11th at Manasseh Lodge No. 182 in Manassas, the ladies of Manassas Assembly No. 13 confidently marched in to be installed into their respective offices, surrounded by a ‘Brave’ inspired theme, decorations and bagpipes, and led by incoming Worthy Advisor Catalina. Fitting the theme of the term, Catalina proclaimed that she would be honoring the stations of Patriotism, Faith, and Nature, while also leading the Assembly in raising funds for Breakthough T1D (https://www.breakthrought1d.org/), formerly known as the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation. As the leading global type 1 diabetes research and advocacy organization, Breakthrough T1D helps make everyday life better while driving research toward cures. Great things are happening at Manassas Assembly No. 13, and under Worthy Advisor Catalina’s leadership, she has already let fly her first arrow, bringing awareness to juvenile diabetes.

On Saturday, January 4th at South Norfolk Masonic Lodge in Chesapeake, the ladies of Norfolk Assembly No. 15 held their Installation of Officers for the ensuing term, surrounded by a packed house of family, friends, and numerous members and leaders of our Masonic sponsoring and appendant bodies. Norfolk Assembly No. 15 is defying gravity as it has seen the highest percentage of growth of any IORG Assembly in Virginia during 2024, an outstanding 60% increase in regular membership, and the establishment of a strong and growing pledge program that represents the future of the Assembly! This term, the ladies will be supporting the Amaranth Diabetes Association (https://diabetes.org/research/amaranth-diabetes-foundation),. Under the leadership of Worthy Advisor Becca, we know the Assembly is going to fly this upcoming term!
