At the meetings in Manassas, we do business, opening, and closing. Some fun things we do at the meetings are eat food together after and do fun celebrations. At one of the celebrations, I talked about when my dog got shaved fully and it was really funny. I like going to their meetings and am thankful that they are so nice to me each time I visit.

At our last meeting, we had a painting event led by Mom Stephanie. The best thing that happened was that we all made our sea creatures different. This was held at Ashburn-Sterling Lodge where we have our meetings for Rainbow. A funny thing that happened was that Grace made her painting be a Patrick star. Her brother’s name is Patrick which made it even more funny. Over all this event was super fun!

Happy 83rd Birthday Lily Tomlin- 09/01/22
Lily was born Mary Jean Tomlin to her parents Lillie Mae and Guy Tomlin on September 1st , 1939 in Detroit, Michigan. She had one sibling Richard Tomlin. Lily is known for the role of Ernestine on Sesame Street and the voice of Ms. Frizzle on the Magic School Bus. Lily was also a Rainbow girl in Michigan and Ruth Buzzi, her co-star who played Ruthie on Sesame Street, was also a Rainbow girl in Rhode Island. Tomlin married Jean Wagner in 2013.
