The Grand Officers of Norfolk headed up to Manassas for the Grand Officer practice that was the same day as the drive in movie night. It was a very long drive heading up there, but we made it to practice just in time. There, all the grand officers went over their parts for opening and closing of an assembly. Next, we started to learn the opening and closing marches for Grand Assembly. The song choices were very cool and upbeat! The walking part took some time to learn, but all of the grand officers soon got the hang of it! Overall, it was a very well run grand officer practice and all the girls were able to perform their parts will little errors.

Norfolk #15

Grand Master Visit – 1/18/2020

On Saturday, January 18^th, Manassas Assembly #13 catered the Grand Master’s visit at Manasseh Lodge.  Mom Priscilla and seven members of the assembly worked hard to make the dinner a success. Gigi, Alyssa, and Elina did the flag presentation and got all dressed up to do it.  We served the food so fast that the Masons were impressed with our efficiency!  We had an assembly line in effect, and it worked so well that we were done in no time.  I can’t wait until the next big event so we can show off our skills.

Isabella – Manassas Assembly #13

On September 14th, we attended Tidewater Demolay’s installation of officers in Newport News. The officers were installed and Victoria M. was crowned as chapter sweetheart for the ensuing term. There was a reception and dance followed by the installation. Everyone had a great time!

Norfolk #15

Fredericksburg Initiation – 1/19/2020

On Sunday, January 19^th, Manassas Assembly #13 helped with the Fredericksburg initiation.  Many of our members helped with bow stations and Gigi also helped to be Worthy Associate Advisor as well as a bow station.  It was a nice ceremony and Missy Mae has finally gone from pledge to a full Rainbow Girl!  To top it all off it was also her birthday and after the initiation, we all went downstairs to a birthday party.
