Pass the Torch Event before Richmond Installation

Posted in Blog on March 4th, 2018 by admin

I highly enjoyed hanging out with my Rainbow Sisters at our first Pass the Torch event in quite a while. I’m very thankful the Masons of Washington and Henry Lodge for allowing us to use their building. We started with pizza and cookies thanks to Dad Gray, Mom Jackson, and the baking talents of Mom Bristow-Gray. We then began crafting our walk-ins for Installation. It was a fun time of socializing, vine quoting, and all-out goofiness. Pass the Torch was an absolute blast, pun intended. Perhaps the best part was being able to take home leftovers. 

Richmond and Fredericksburg Grand Visitation

Posted in Blog on March 4th, 2018 by admin

The Richmond and Fredericksburg Grand Visitation was great! Katie Ricketts, the Grand Worthy Advisor from Ohio, and some of her officers were there in attendance visiting Virginia Rainbow for the weekend. We preformed Opening and Sierra, our Worthy Advisor, introduced all of our guests. Fredericksburg performed closing. We then did our presentation and skit and Fredericksburg did a program about Rainbow. We then all gathered in the Reception area and ate. This was exciting because it was my first Grand Visitation.

Potluck for the Homeless

Posted in Blog on March 4th, 2018 by admin

Sierra’s charity for this term is Potluck for the Homeless. On February 3rd, we made some potato soup and ham sandwiches to give out to people who are less fortunate than we are. We all enjoyed being able to help out our Richmond community and give back. We are looking forward to doing it again next month.

Snowcoming Dance

The Snowcoming Ball was absolutely fun. They had a mini photo booth and we all got to see all of our fellow Rainbow Girls. While we were all dancing, we got to see one of the DeMolay Boy’s put on heels and dance, which was pretty interesting and entertaining. Overall the Snowcoming Ball was way better then homecoming.
