Wreaths Across America

Every day, in cemeteries all across America, another Veteran is laid to rest. Taps is played and rifle volleys are fired. A flag is gently folded and presented to a grieving family member in recognition and thanks for the Veteran’s service. We want to honor not only those Veterans, but also remember the sacrifice and service of those who no longer have family members who visit their grave sites to remember them and thank them for their service.

We hope that you will join with us to REMEMBER, and thereby HONOR those veterans.

For only $15, you can honor one of those veterans. We hope that you will help, at whatever level you can, to make this campaign successful.

Click the link below to view our online team page, donate a wreath, and join us in honoring our Veterans.

Breakfast & Dinner All in One Day

Posted in Blog on October 13th, 2016 by Webmaster

masonic-breakfast_4On October 1st, Hampton Assembly made breakfast for the Masons from 8-10. Kensley and I stayed a little after that to listen to a Damsel in Defense demonstration. I love their products! It’s all about keeping yourself safe from people that could try to hurt you. We got to try out some of the products and I got to get an idea of what I want for Christmas.

masonic-breakfast_1masonic-breakfast_3masonic-breakfast_2After that, we stayed while Dad Joe made dinner for Paint Night. The Paint Night was awesome. The picture was a crab and I saw some really good ones and really funny ones. Kensley’s brother painted Sebastian the crab from The Little Mermaid and her aunt messed up on her crab so she just painted over it and said it was hidden in the sand. A couple other Rainbow girls showed up and everyone had fun. It was a very busy and entertaining day.

Hampton Visits Peninsula SPCA

Hampton Assembly visited the peninsula SPCA to donate a check. Rachel, Kensley, and I went and got to see all the cute animals! There was a section for dogs where I spent most of my time. They were all so cute and would stand by the cage to let you pet them. Then we were walking to the cats section when we saw a bird named Precious who could dance and talk. Two of our adults said he could do a really creepy voice but only did it around them. After we saw the cat, we went to present the check.
We took a lot of pictures and Kensley and I were recruited to paint a mural for their big 150lb turtle! It was a wonderful day.
