My mom had a business trip to Nevada, and she let me tag along for the ride. While we were there, I went to see our Rainbow Sisters in Las Vegas, Nevada. They were so sweet and really welcoming. I got to participate in their meeting, and they gave me the opportunity to be Chaplain. Instead of calling the adults Mom or Dad, they call them Mr. or Ms. The Worthy Advisor of their Assembly just became Grand Worthy Advisor of Nevada. It was really great meeting them all, and I know that they are now a part of my Rainbow family.

Richmond Assembly held its first Program after 18 months for our sponsoring Lodge, Metropolitan #11. Performing the Pot of Gold Lecture with my Rainbow sisters was something I truly missed doing and I am so happy to be able to do it again. They are wonderful supporters of our Assembly and we gave the Master of the Lodge a Rainbow pocket square and one of Dad McLaughlin’s pins.

Grand Assembly was such a great experience. Being able to see everyone again and have our traditional Grand Assembly after over a year couldn’t have been better. We also saw Grace being initiated into our Order, and into our Assembly. It really made it feel like Virginia Rainbow was going back to its ways during these challenging times.

I had an amazing time again at Grand Assembly this year! I saw a few of my Rainbow sisters that I haven’t seen for a while. I loved that I got to meet our Rainbow sisters from Connecticut, and one of our sisters from North Carolina. I have made so many new friends at Grand, and I know that our friendship will last as we continue to get older. Vanessa’s term was amazing, and I enjoyed getting to be apart of it! I am really excited to see what Kaitlyn will do for her term.
