I watched their Grand Assembly on Facebook Live. The grand officers were wearing white dresses. I saw Lois from Hampton Assembly in the background at Ohio’s Grand Assembly. The Grand Assembly was decorated with hot air balloons and the Grand Worthy Advisor’s station had the word Travel in upper case letters on it. They initiated 7 new girls during Saturday morning’s session.

            Chrissy Boner was installed as the Grand Worthy Advisor in Ohio. Chrissy’s GWA theme is “Let your shine with Ohio Rainbow”, her motto is “you have been always a diamond; it’s allowing yourself to brush off the coal when you shine the brightest” and her symbols are Diamonds, Crowns, Glitter, Candles, and Stars. Her colors are Pink and Sliver, her flower is Stargazer Lily, her scripture is “The light shines in the darkness and the darkness has not overcome it” (John 1:5), and her song is Diamonds by Rihanna. Her charity projects are Project Heal and NEDA.

            Florida Rainbow showed some of their grand assembly sessions on Facebook live. I saw Kassidy from Manassas assembly was there talking about Virginia Rainbow in the video. They the cavalcade the flags in their grand rep states. I also saw the grand rep and the GWAA from Louisiana was there at Florida’s grand assembly. I saw the grand representatives had very awesome costumes including the one that was dressed as Domino’s pizza. Amanda, the past GWA in Florida, had her theme decorated well at Grand assembly. They only had one girl in Florida Rainbow majority out.

            Abigail in Florida Rainbow was installed as the new GWA in Florida. Her GWA theme is Vincent Van Gogh and her flower is Irises. Her motto is “Get ready to paint Rainbow’s Masterpiece”. Her colors are Vincent Van Gogh Green, Basquiat Blue, Kusama Carmine, and Claude Monet Champagne. Her fun symbol is a frog wearing a beret.

On June 5^th, the Grand Officers awoke bright and early for our pre- Grand Assembly practice. We rehearsed opening and closing, said our speaking parts to ritual advisors for approval, practiced the Book of Memories, and learned the marches in and out of the Assembly room. I love the station of Nature, and with Grand Assembly only a few weeks away I am super excited to show what I can do!

On June 4^th, 2022 the Grand Officers and Representatives met at the New Kent welcome center to begin our driving scavenger hunt. I was unfortunately unable to complete the scavenger hunt, as I was feeling carsick, but I heard all about the adventure of finding Love signs at various places from there to St. Tammany Lodge. At the Lodge, we painted Love signs, ate burrito bowls for dinner, and played games like Pictionary and Uno!
