Serving Dinner for the Grand Master of Masons in Virginia at Khedive Shrine Center

On February 12, 2026, at Khedive Shrine Center, the Master Masons hosted their annual Grand Master Dinner. They invited Rainbow, Demolay, and Job’s Daughters to help serve. We started by picking up trash and clearing the extra plates from their salads. Then, we did something different and started passing out cupcakes to everyone. Dessert is always best before dinner! And the cupcakes were equally delicious! We then started to pass out the dinner option, which was a choice between beef and chicken.

Once all the food was served, we listened to the Grand Master’s speech which was about secrets. Myself and the youth that were in attendance also were able to eat the great meal. At the conclusion of clean up, we traveled home,

I am so happy I was able to attend this serving event. I have been looking forward to this for a long time because I always love to catch up with my youth sisters and brothers, and equally see all our amazing sponsoring bodies. The food was so good and the decorations were adorable. The theme for the decor was Valentine’s Day, with red and pink hearts on the tables.

Richmond Assembly No. 10 Installation of Officers

Posted in Blog, Events on January 24th, 2026 by Joseph Grist

On January 24, 2026, at Manchester Lodge, Richmond Assembly had its installation of officers. The theme for this term is “A Rainbow For All Seasons” with Faith going in as the Worthy Advisor. The installation went beautifully, even with the crazy weather that was happening outside!. The installation was moved to 12:30 pm and the refreshments were at 11 am, which I really enjoyed having the early lunch! They served white and regular chili along with a vegetarian option. The desserts were cupcakes decorated as mushrooms and moss.

Congratulations to everyone who got installed on Saturday. I’m so happy I was able to attend such a wonderful event with our Worthy Advisor, Alaina. One of my favorite things to see during the installation was how Richmond made the mascot presentation into a game show that was very entertaining! I love traveling around the state to support my sisters.

DeMolay Masquerade Ball

Posted in Blog, Events on January 17th, 2026 by admin

On January 17, 2026, at Monitor Lodge, Eastern Region DeMolay hosted their Masquerade Ball. There was a lot of great food like mini cheesecakes, fruit, veggies, chips, pigs in a blanket, and more. The food was so good that it was gone as soon as it was put out. The first part of the dance was your normal dancing, but then they brought out fake snowballs for people to throw at each other, which was a lot of fun and a great twist to a dance! Then for the last hour, there was karaoke.

I am so happy I got to go to this dance. It is a great way to kick off the new year. Most of the highlights from the event were during karaoke. First I want to say everyone did amazing. My brother Riley sang songs such as Popular from Wicked and Perfect by Ed Sheeran. Also, Michael, Junior, and Carl sang Barbie Girl. This was an amazing, laughter filled event and I’m so glad I was able to attend it.
