Visiting Bethel Installation

The Bethel 53 Installation on January 8th was cool. Everything was totally different. They sang in their prayers and there was a pianist playing ten different songs. Sarah was installed as Honored Queen. They were dressed in robes and performed a special ceremony. The Introductions were long and the refreshments were tasty because of the meatballs and fresh fruit. It is great that we also support our other Masonic sisters because we are all a family around the world.

Metropolitan Lodge #11’s 150th Anniversary

Posted in Blog on December 27th, 2010 by admin

Saturday, December 11th marked Metropolitan Lodge #11’s 150th year open.  They started with a program in the lodge room. They talked a lot about the Masonic youth organizations. Many people spoke fondly of the lodge and a few people were given awards. We were told that Charlie Sarbaugh was ill with a severe respiratory illness and to please keep him in our prayers.

After the program there was a reception in the dining hall. All the girls sat and talked about the program. The girls enjoyed the program, especially the part where they talked about Rainbow for about ten minutes. Later all the girls gathered in front of the Christmas tree with Worshipful Master of Metropolitan, Tom Watkins and took a picture.  Metropolitan Lodge #11 is the sponsor of our Assembly.
