Rainbow Golf Tournement

Posted in Blog on September 25th, 2011 by soccergirl
On Saturday September 18, I attended the Virginia rainbow golf tournament. There was more than plenty to do. We had a putt-putt competition which Nicole’s nephew had won with the score of 17. We wrote letters to the soldiers. And we served lunch to the masons when they had gotten halfway through the course; then they continued on their game. After they were all done there was an award ceremony to announce who had won.

MATOC Dance

Posted in Blog on September 21st, 2011 by soccergirl

On September 10 there was the mid-Atlantic tournament of champions for the demolay; that night they held a dance. Rainbow girls, jobies, and a lot of demolay attended. They played music and announced the winners of the tournament. Everyone seemed to have fun and everyone was happy for the winners. After the awards, we danced the night away.

Metropolitan Lodge Spaghetti Dinner

Posted in Blog on September 14th, 2011 by soccergirl

On August 11, Richmond Assembly gathered to prepare and serve dinner for the Metropolitan Lodge #11. We prepared spaghetti, bread and salads for the men and then served them each a slice of cake that Mom Rose bought saying thanks for all their help and support for our assembly. After serving dinner we all quickly changed into our formals to do a program for the lodge before their meeting. We did a program that our Grand Worthy Advisor, Nicole, created. The program explained what Rainbow was about and it described each color and what the colors of the rainbow meant to us rainbow girls. It was a beautiful program, and we had a great night serving our wonderful supporters of Metropolitan lodge #11.

Richmond Mini-Golfing Prospect Party

Posted in Blog on September 14th, 2011 by soccergirl

On August 20th, Richmond Assembly Rainbow girls had fun playing mini golf at Bogey’s Golf Club. The girls who attended were Brigitte, Erin, Brianna, Christa, Rebecca, Kathy, and myself. We also had a prospect girl named Marie come play with us. We had lots of fun mini golfing and then afterwards spent time getting to know each other and then we rolled down a hill with Brianna, Christa, and Maria. It was nice spending time with the other Rainbow girls and getting to know Marie and we hope she joins our assembly!
