On April 19, 2026, Tidewater Chapter hosted a game night at Portsmouth Lodge, from 4pm-8pm. It was a lot of fun and there were so many people in attendance! They had support from Kempsville and Portsmouth chapter as well. I decided to come along with one of my friends. For food, there was pizza, soda, and chips; the greatest game night buffet! For game options, these included video games, and various board and card games. 

I am glad I was able to go to this event. I was happy to come out and support our brothers, along with introducing my friend to our amazing youth groups! We played uno, Poker, and mostly hung out with our DeMolay brothers. I had so much fun and cannot wait for the next game night event!

Macie R. Norfolk Assembly #15

On April 12, 2026, Alaina and I attended her morning church service for Rainbow Sunday. We went to the second service of the day, where we were able to participate in more songs before the pastor spoke. During this service, we learned about how there are individuals in your life who are there to help guide you when things seem tough. There are individuals who embody the strength you need to continue on though challenging times. This really stuck out to me and made me think of all the girls and adults who help me excel to my highest potential as I continue with my rainbow journey. 

After church, we went to South Norfolk Lodge and had lunch. We had sandwiches and cupcakes. It was great to just relax and chat with my rainbow advisors and sister before we had to set up the Assembly for our meeting. Our Rainbow Pledge was so sweet and made colorful popsicle sticks and handed them out to all the girls and adults based on our favorite color or station we were occupying. 

I had such a good time going to church with Alaina and our advisors. I’ve never been to a church that sings upbeat and engaging songs and I really enjoyed the lesson. Even though it was just the two of us, I still had a great time. I’m so glad I got to spend time with Alaina for Rainbow Sunday! 

Macie R. Norfolk Assembly #15

On March 21, 2026, Norfolk Assembly #15 had our first ever breakfast with the Easter Bunny fundraising event, and it was so much fun! This event is similar to our yearly breakfast with Santa, where we had an Easter Bunny present to take pictures with all the kids! One of our DeMolay brothers stepped up and came to be our Easter Bunny. Norfolk Assembly was very thankful, and it helped with making this event such a success! So many people came out to support us, and I even brought a prospect! 

We had lots of breakfast food options to choose from. Some of the food we had there included pancakes, eggs, grits, and sausages. All of the food was amazing! Our outstanding Worthy Advisor, Alaina, brought lots of activities for the pledges that attended. She even had activities for our active Rainbow girls and our adults to participate in as well. We all had lots of fun, and I can’t wait for all of the other events Alaina has planned for the rest of her term!

Any person coming into a CLOSED session requires a registration badge.

For the assemblies, we are still requiring an assembly check for any registrations for the assembly, including adults.  A JotForm should be completed for each registrant. 

For girls, a medical form and photo release form need to be uploaded for each individual girl.  A copy of each of those forms is attached to this.
