Kempsville DeMolay Installation of Officers

Posted in Blog on September 20th, 2025 by admin

On September 20, 2025, Kempsville Chapter had their installation of officers at Bayside Masonic Lodge. Michael S. went in as Master Councilor, and Jessie B. stepped down from the Master Councilor position. After the ceremony they had a reception with amazing food. There was also a dance right after everyone was done eating.

I enjoy going to DeMolay events like this. As the outgoing sweetheart, I was honored to pass the title to one of my close Rainbow sisters, Becca W.. I am honored to be there Sweetheart for the second time, and I know that Becca will do a great job as Chapter Sweetheart. (by Macie R.)

Boogity, Boogity, Boogity, Let’s Go Racing Girls Event

Posted in Blog on September 6th, 2025 by admin

Rainbow Girl Reports:

After Grand Visitation, 9/6, we went to Langley Speedway to watch the race for “Boogity, Boogity, Boogity, Let’s Go Racing Girls”. Almost all of the girls went. There was a food truck for all girls and their families. They had things like fries and barbecue. We were supposed to get in groups based on who we thought would win.

We witnessed only 1 car collision. We had fun and Chloe had an obsession with wanting any car number 3 to win. We had to cut it short because while we were out there it had started to rain. Overall it was a really fun time and there was lots of good food. (by Ava C.)

Virginia Rainbow Girls in the MASA Parade

Posted in Blog on September 6th, 2025 by admin

On September 6th, 2025, VA IORG walked in the MASA parade. Some of the girls from Norfolk Assembly that went to this parade were Becca, Sam, Alaina, Alex, Chloe, Manuela, and me. Our Grand Worthy Advisor, Emily, was able to be in attendance along with one of our sisters from Manassas Assembly. All we had to do for this event was walk down a street and wave to people and represent Rainbow Girls. We, as the Masonic Youth, were asked to walk in this parade to represent each of our organizations and spread cheer for everyone to hear! Thank you, Mom Michelle, for setting up everything for us.

Since the parade was a little quiet, we made up a chant: Everywhere we go(everywhere we go) people wanna know(people wanna know) who we are(who we are) so we tell them( so we tell them) we are the youth(we are the youth) the Masonic youth( the Masonic youth) and if you can’t hear us( and if you can’t hear us) we’ll shout a little louder( we’ll shout a little louder)!
