The Rainbow I Feel

The colors aglow

And brighten as I seep through

Now surrounds my heart

Word of Intention

Posted in Blog on March 21st, 2020 by Christi Reed

On Friday, December 13th, the girls of Manassas Assembly gathered at the
lodge and watched a TED talk on creating a word of intention. We spoke
in groups of 2 and asked each other questions about what we wanted more
of in our lives and what that might look like. Each of us came up with a
word that felt personally meaningful. The words were most often a
virtue, goal or passion. Here are some of the words that we came up
with: possible, confidence, peace, happiness, positivity, family,
persevere, hope, harmony, artistic, fearless. We then stamped our words
onto metal bracelets and necklaces. We also ate pizza and snacks, and
Emily presented a bracelet to Gigi that said Wonder Woman. She tried to
get down on one knee to present it, but she giggled so hard she kept
falling over. It was a really fun and meaningful event. What’s your word?

Initiation at Quantico-Freedom

Posted in Blog on March 20th, 2020 by Christi Reed

On December 1st, Jazmin was initiated into Quantico-Freedom Assembly!
Several girls from Manassas Assembly attended their meeting to help out
with the ceremony. Allison, Katie, Sami, Isabella, Vanessa, Eliza,
Dalanie, Gigi and myself were in attendance. We were lucky enough to be
part of welcoming Jazmin into Rainbow, and it was a really special
experience. Not only did we get to see our sister assembly grow, but we
also got to help our friends. Jazmin has joined an incredible group of
girls, and we can’t wait to see what they do next!
