Golf Tournament

On Saturday 9/15 Virginia Rainbow had our Golf Tournament, it was really fun! Mom and Dad Knodel, Nellie, Tatiana, and I went to the 2012 Golf Tournament. The girls went around to cheer on some of the golfers. We played Putt-Putt golf. They had lunch for us. We ate lunch and then they presented trophies. Dad Knodel won 3rd place. Then we left to head home and all the roads were closed so we took the ferry and we sat in line for like 4 hours then we finally got home!

The MCHQWA Ball was great. That was the first ball that I have ever been to. The Manassas Assembly had a great time. You could see by their faces. They were smiling the whole time and dancing like crazy people. We had only four people who came from the Manassas Assembly, but we made it fun. Our Worthy Advisor was having the most fun. She got to see her old friends and she made new ones. The MCHQWA Ball went by so fast, and I can’t wait for the next one.

School and Rainbow

Posted in Blog on October 6th, 2012 by Webmaster

I can relate school to Rainbow Girls because school is starting to get harder for me and I am with a bunch of kids that I don’t know. In Rainbow Girls, when I first got initiated I knew nobody, and now that experience is helping me learn that I don’t and won’t know everybody. The other day I got hit in the back close to my spine by a softball at one of my softball games. Even though my back still hurt the day of my next game, I still played. That, relates to Rainbow Girls because you have to persevere and that other people depend on you to know what you are doing and to do your best, even if you get injured or forget your part. The three things relate to each other mainly because you have to persevere all your life.

Ham Radio Fundraiser: September 29, 2012

We had to wake up at 6 in the morning to get ready, it was worth it. A lot of people bought donuts and coffee, but only one person got an apple. I sent Dad McLaughlin to advertise that we were selling donuts and coffee and apples. He got people to come over and buy stuff.  At the end Brianna and I found a phone. It turned out to be Mom Wendel’s smartphone. We ended the day with a total of $129!
