DeMolay DeMolay DeMolay!

On Saturday October 1st Stevie, Nellie and I attended the Installation of Kempsville DeMolay in Virginia Beach. We had a great time like always! It was such a joy to see Nick get installed as Master Councilor of the Chapter, he is a really close friend of mine. The reception afterwards was picnic themed and we enjoyed socializing with all of the gentlemen!

On Sunday October 2nd Kendra and I attended the Installation of Westhampton DeMolay in Richmond. Danny was installed as Master Councilor. We had a wonderful time there as well. We even had the privilege of having Darren from Tidewater Chapter ride home with us, and boy was that a treat!

I know both of these Chapters will have very successful terms with their new leaders and wish them the best of luck. Always remember that Rainbow is just a phone call away and we are always delighted to see DeMolay and help whenever needed. You’ve got a friend in us!

Bowling for New Members

Posted in Blog on October 23rd, 2011 by soccergirl

On October 11, Richmond Assembly Rainbow girls hosted a bowling prospect party at AMF Bowling Alley. We had lots have fun bowling and getting t know our new prospects; Skye, Destiny, Nadia, and Chante. We all wore pink for breast cancer awareness, wearing the shirts that we made at Erin’s sleepover. Our Grand Worthy Advisor Nicole got a strike on her very first roll! All in all, it turned out to be a very good prospect party. We hope that the girls decide to join our assembly 🙂

Tie-Dying for Awareness

Posted in Blog on October 23rd, 2011 by soccergirl

On October 8th, Richmond Rainbow girls had a big sleepover at our Worthy Advisor Erin’s house! It was lots of fun! We made pink tie-dyed shirts for breast cancer awareness, and we made many bracelets for the upcoming star bazaar. We laughed a lot the whole time, especially during dinner when Erin talked with her arms. The next morning we went to Erin’s church, because it was the church’s homecoming, and we babysat the children in the nursery during the services. Babysitting all the children was a little tiring, but it was still fun!
