Grand Master Visit – 1/18/2020

On Saturday, January 18th, Manassas Assembly #13 catered the Grand Master’s visit at Manasseh Lodge.  Mom Priscilla and seven members of the assembly worked hard to make the dinner a success. Gigi, Alyssa, and Elina did the flag presentation and got all dressed up to do it.  We served the food so fast that the Masons were impressed with our efficiency!  We had an assembly line in effect, and it worked so well that we were done in no time.  I can’t wait until the next big event so we can show off our skills.

Dinner and a Program

Posted in Blog on March 23rd, 2020 by Christi Reed

On Tuesday, August 20, Sarah R, Kayla D, Jordan B, and I had dinner at Granby lodge and did a program for the Masons. For dinner we had meatloaf, mashed potatoes, green beans, and rolls. For dessert we had vanilla pound cake and vanilla ice cream. The program was relating Rainbow to the Masons. We had a lot of fun doing the program and are glad we got the opportunity to do this.

Grand Master’s Visit

The girls set up, cooked and served dinner for the Grand Masters Visit. The girls present were Isabella, Alyssa, Eliza, Dalanie, me, Avery, Elina. We served everyone in 15 minutes, and everyone loved the food. We received a donation of $100 for the Grand Assembly charity, Give Kids the World. We were asked to present the flag before dinner. The girls who presented the flag were Alyssa, Elina, and me. At the end of the day each girl made $100 for their rainbow banks.

Masonic Family Day – 10/12/2019

On October 12, 2019 I went to Masonic Family Day in Richmond at MAHOVA.  We were a little later than expected due to construction traffic and a spider in the back of the car.  After stopping to set the spider free we got there at about 10:20am.  We met up with other VA Rainbow and walked in the parade.  Then we had lunch and some members of the Junior Grand Executive board volunteered to be hit with “pies” for money for charity.  I left after that because I had another event to go to for ILITE Robotics.  It was a fun morning.
